CHERRY VALLEY, NY – General CADD Products, Inc. announces the release of General CADD Pro Version 3.1. This all-new computer-aided drafting and design software product features a user-friendly two-letter command structure, complete Windows functionality, a powerful Macro programming language, 32-bit accuracy and compatibility with important CADD file formats.

 

Project leaders for General CADD Pro 3.1 continue to be the programming duo of Matt Brown and Carl Ransdell, well known in CADD circles for their work on Generic CADD, the popular DOS-based drafting software product, and Visual CADD, an early Windows 2D drafting product.

 

General CADD Pro features an easy-to-learn two-letter command structure favored by many drafting professionals. A variety of Windows dialog boxes are also available for simplified access to such features as dimension settings and text formatting. All commands are available from the Main Windows menu, user customizable toolbars and as from two-letter keyboard shortcuts.  Over 60 new commands and features have been added since Version 2.1 including ACAD 2004 file support and specific surveyor bearing/distance commands!
